Matthew Bardelas (b. 1992) is an artist and graphic designer who was born and raised in Morton Grove, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago in 2018. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Oakton Community College in 2017. Matthew has worked with a variety of different media including drawing, sculpture, painting, digital, photography and ceramics. His work process in Graphic Design begins with traditional sketches that are then scanned into the computer. He then digitally colors the work with Adobe Illustrator. Matthew has displayed his work at Artextravaganza at Northeastern in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2016, he was in the Annual Juried Student Exhibition at Northeastern where he won the award for Best in 2D.
